Annual Pumpkin Carving Contest

This party has taken for many years. In fact, the Washington Post wrote an article about it in the 1990s. Every year people and now children compete for a variety of prizes - sometimes things my sister-in-law wants to get rid of (one year I won a tropical drink glass with hula dancer on it), or trophies that she makes. It's lots of fun for all.
