Surf Ballroom

The historic Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, Iowa, U.S.A. Buddy Holly played his last gig here on 2 February 1959. American rock and roll musicians Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and "The Big Bopper" J. P. Richardson were all killed in a plane crash about 5 miles north of Clear Lake.
