Tripod Mount

Stativanschluss der besonderen Art. Hat jeweil zwei Gewindelöcher in jeder "Nase" dort wurden wahrscheinlich die Beine des Stativs befestigt. Ist aber nur Spekulation - wer näheres dazu weiß - bitte Kommentar, danke. Special tripod mount, the tripod legs seem to get screwed to the "noses" as they have threaded holes. Info appreciated, please leave comment, thanks in advance!

i guess the poles will be hooked into the big 0 shaped holesv and only fixed with screws!
the poles must have some kind of hooks!

@stereograph Thanks for the reply - that's what I thought first but I am considering other options as well. Thanks a lot for your input. I'll keep everyone posted, I hope with pics of and by the camera!
